Solid spot for chicago style hot dogs. Super happy that there's a location in the IE. It's almost like Disneyland inside with the design and lights. Love it! We ordered through the kiosk since it looks like its faster than going in line. The food did take a while, but it was a busy Saturday lunch. We had to order the jumbo hot dogs, with everything of course! The polish sausage was a great choice. I would also recommend getting the onion rings and dipping them in cheese sauce. For dessert, definitely get the chocolate cake shake, it's to die for! My only issue was that the hot dogs did come out kind of lukewarm. However, this is still a great joint for an affordable lunch or dinner!

This place is awesome and has amazing food choice options from my favorite the beef and cheddar croissants to a Chicago dog to burger and sandwiches! You will not be disappointed with anything you get on the menu and they even have shakes and the best one is the chocolate cake shake! The service is always friendly fast and efficient! I've been going here for years and I've never been disappointed with the service or the food which is why I keep going back and cause the food is amazing! The ambiance is kinda like your normal casual sit down restaurant but a little bit nicer in my opinion and it's good by yourself or with a date or family and friends and even a big group! I highly recommend this place if you've never tried it and especially recommend the beef and cheddar croissants! I'll definitely be back again soon! And to the staff and team keep you the amazing work you guys rock and knock it out the park every time!

Been to this location a few times now and absolutely love the food here! Have had their beef sandwich and street style polish hot dog and would recommend them both. The hot dogs in particular are a highlight for me as the sausage is very well done and the toppings bring a unique Chicago flavor to the hot dog. Service has been great here and the restaurant has a classic retro feel which makes it an awesome place to dine in!

Portillo's began in 1963 as a hot dog stand near Chicago. They expanded to Moreno Valley in 2008, which is only one of two California locations. The Buena Park restaurant opened in 2005. I placed an online order for chopped salads, chicken tenders, a chili cheese dog, and charbroiled chicken sandwich. All was delicious, fresh, and customized as ordered.

This is the spot for fried chicken! I came here for the first time with my boyfriend and it did not disappoint. The decor inside is fun and festive, the employees are friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. It tasted as a fried chicken sandwich should taste. The chicken was juicy and hot, there was lettuce and tomato, and a really good sauce. We also ordered chicken tenders that were perfect, and chili and cheese fries. All I can say is everything was fresh and super tasty. Highly recommend :)

Once again another outstanding visit to a Portillos. I don't know what they do to their hot dogs, but they're delicious. We also tried the spicy chicken chopped salad and it gets two thumbs up. Hot crinkle fries, cold drinks, and a friendly staff.

I honestly came here solely for the chocolate cake shake. I saw some videos of how they made it on YouTube and was close enough to the area for a detour. I also picked up an Italian Beef Portillos way with hot peppers to go. I ate it after an hour and it was still good despite the bread becoming soggy. The cake shake was good. I liked the chunks and the richness. When I look at the nutritional information I almost want to cry. I think the cake shake is one of those items that I try once, or maybe once every few years. I did like it and have no regrets.

Portillo's is a place you have to experience one time. You'll feel bad about yourself afterwards, swear to never go back, only to return because you can't get the cake shake out of your mind. We drove an hour to check it out, because why not? We ordered the Chicago dog, fries, the Italian beef dip, a slice of cake to take home, and a cake shake. The hot dog had a good snap but wasn't hot. The fries were hot and nicely salted. The beef dip was meh and just not my thing. I don't want soggy bread and think it's gross. The cake shake is the reason you go. It's delicious, chocolately, has an entire slice mixed in, and you want it again. Will I return? I say no, but am positive that cake shake will lure me back in.
